You could try what I used to do with the PS4 controller. Try pinching the base to squeeze back into the hole. After that move it around so the stick is right under and click in. Hopefully that works!
OP, did you fix it yet? I’ve been working on these for about a year. Here is a video from extremeRate. They offer unreadable parts that I’ve put on most of my controllers. No, I’m no salesman. I love to mod. Hit me up if you have questions.
So the middle piece where the PlayStation logo is actually one big piece that then folds it’s way into the bottom grip, get a pry tool and pry the bottom out of both corners
You can’t. I mean, maybe I wouldn’t risk it. Look up some guides on YouTube and take the controller apart, it isn’t too difficult. Once the shell is off you should be able to put that back on the analog stick. Like I said, not too difficult. I recommend tronics fix videos.
I just did this so don’t worry. Pull R2 and L2 down and remove the screws. Then the two at the bottom of where you hold the controller that’s covered by the plastic insert. (The black plastic piece that is under the touch pad and around the ps symbol). After this the are two screws next to each tumble motor. After taking those apart, the top piece of plastic controller will pop out. Then insert your joystick. Make sure to clean the debris and don’t lose the screws! I just fixed my ps5 controller this morning and this worked perfectly. Good luck!
There is only 1 correct answer. Take the controller apart. Use the video u/Saintious posted. Get yourself a small repair kit for phones and electronics, it only costs a few €/$.
If you are not able to do it, then you tried and nothing is lost. If you are able to fix it you saved like 50-60€/$ and get that really good feeling to have fixed it yourself.
Ignore any comment about forcing it back in, you either break or bend the base of the thumbstick.
You don’t have to fix it. The thumbstick trusted you enough to come out to you. Just love it the same way you always have and accept it’s decision as it will make it happy
Did you try and put it back on.
Most likely gonna have to take it apart to put the stick back on.
Put it back in, should be a super easy fix. Just make sure it’s super clean because dust and stuff in that spot is gonna lead to drifting.
Haha, that’s the fun part! You don’t…
“Fell”
have you tried putting in rice?

You can’t get it back in with physical force because the base of the stick is too big, yet it just popped right out when it fell? Hmmmm
Hold the thumb stick in place and drop it exactly like you did the first time. It might just work

Just blow in the cartridge
Why does a ps5 controller look like a ps4 controller that got fat
Wtf are these comments just take it apart? It’s only a few screws. I’m so confused right now, does no one fix anything anymore?
It seems you can get the faceplate off relatively easily.

Ask it nicely to get back into its place
How is it not broken more than this…………..
