It sounds odd having them speak with such strong American accents.
This feels like Taika Waititi meets Aki Kaurismäki, I’ll watch it.
Saw this at SXSW Online last year. Pretty solid overall. There was a little bit of tonal whiplash going on imo as the film tries to balance comedy with some really sweet and tender moments and heavy dramatic ones. But it all feels incredibly personal so it still works. The story is pretty wild too.
