It’s been a long time since I played it, I enjoyed it as a kid. It was really simplified compared to ff3 on the super Nintendo. I think I even have the box and paperwork for it.
I’m ashamed to say I looked down on this one when it was released. Coming off other SNES RPG, this felt like baby’s first RPG: visible enemies, auto battle and such. Looking at it now, I see it’s a great game with an even better soundtrack.
It was a very long time ago, but I think this might have been my first foray into RPGs. Great game if a little weird at times. Didn’t you have to use your equipped weapons to open paths or something like that?
This is probably one of the least known FF games out there

Not enough love for this game.
Always hurts to hear youtubers trashing it.
This was more than likely the first RPG that I played. From beginning to end I enjoyed it and is what got me playing RPG’s today.
Holy shit…. that brought me back to when I was about 12. Thanks, that was a good game.
