In case people aren’t familiar this is a darker retelling of one AstroBoy story “The Greatest Robot on Earth” (astro boy was written by Osama Tezuka godfather of manga and anime and was one of the first anime) by Naoki Urasawa (a great manga author most famous for the manga/anime Monster, a thriller about a serial killer that wanders through the countryside in post Communist east Germany and Czechia. Monster is already on Netflix and I’d recommend it kt)
I have often seen Pluto around but never really understood it’s connection to Astro Boy, are they actually connected or is Astro Boy just inspired closely by Pluto?
Been looking forward to seeing this adapted into animated format for years now.

Let’s. Fucking. Go.
Depression here we come.
It’s happening! After years of wondering whether or not this was ever going to be a thing, we’re finally getting a Pluto anime adaptation!

Looks bad ass either way.
Anime like this comes once in a decade. No cringe humor. No excessive boobies. No cheesy dialogue. I can’t wait.
This looks sick
If the dub is any good this will probably make me re-subscribe to Netflix for a month or two.
Dialogs seem seriously dumbed down.
When I see a giant robot I just get so mad, I wanna beat them up! And then I wanna burn them! Sometimes I wanna burn the whole world!
