I’ve been to that hospital atleast a 1000 times to pickup a Pegasus aircraft.
One of my favourite things to do was bail out of a damaged aircraft, pull your parachute, the call up another vehicle and have it spawn as you’re descending to pick it up, land on the roof, don’t even gotta touch the street.
My co-worker’s sister had to be on bed rest until she had back surgery, and it took six months to schedule in the surgery. Not only did she lose out on half a year of her life, but going that long being inactive probably shortened it further.
Super unrealistic though, they take money from you. I guess they had to come up with some way to punish the player for dying, can’t imagine an irl hospital taking money from a patient though.
To be fair, so did Europe, Canada, Asia… basically everywhere with any kind of gdp except America sees not dying unnecessarily from easily treatable conditions as something we might wanna try out.
I was 13 when GTA 3 came out, and it shocked me that money left my pocket when I came out of the hospital. I was like “Wait, who the fuck pays to go to the hospital?”
Then my mum informed me that, indeed, the entire US population does. I was dumbfounded.
Ultra hard realistic. Each hospital visit costs what a real US hospital would actually charge you and you leave the hospital in crippling debt. Having to run missions and steal shit to pay it off all the while trying not to get another hospital visit or get caught lol
All I can say is I live in the UK.
I think the maximum you pay upon dying in GTA V is $5,000 when you respawn at the hospital.
Don’t remember if GTA Online is higher.
Found the American.
Cheaper for me IRL then GTA.
bullet wounds and 3rd degree burns fully healed in 7 seconds

Your America is showing, might wanna hide that here in the first world.

Looks like you haven’t used BAGUVIX
Move out of that shitty 3rd World country then.
They definitely did charge you if you got wasted though.
Not unrealistic in many countries outside of the US
And the myth of free helicopters.

Ouch, heh.
Ha americans
I’m from Canada and this always made me feel so at home.
Tell me you’re a murican without telling me you’re a murican.
also portrays an unrealistic police force when it comes to speed of response, but hits it on the head with the police brutality
A GTA game where a character becomes a criminal to pay off huge medical debt would be pretty on the nose.
Americans don’t realize they’re getting the short end of the stick in their “democracy”
OP, please remember that you get charged $5000 in game money after leaving the hospital. It really is true to life
Faxx
Please don’t call an ambulance *unless you’re outside the US, then feel free to do so*

I thought it was quick in the U.S.? Affordable no but wasn’t one of the big positives to private healthcare faster hospital visits?
Just going off the usual criticism of healthcare being a slow process here in Canada.
Maybe it was a european hospital 😛
ER visit = Free Helicopter
In gta, you’re in and out in the blink of an eye. All conditions healed, even death. I want that kind of insurance coverage.
When my gallbladder was bursting I called an Uber. I only had to pay $9 lol. My friend got a $3K ambulance ride.
Sounds like a decent way to make a new play style
