My absolute favourite thing to do at Christmas is to watch Planet Earth (or Blue Planet or any other David Attenborough series). Can’t wait for this one!
Watching Planet earth while blasted on Z-drugs is something else. Best part is that you can re experience it twice cause you wont remember much of the first viewing
Recently though, I’ve been pulling away. They’re too depressing now.
“And here is a the Emperor Penguin. He is a keystone species, and an amazing individual. Watch as he expertly dives into the water, avoiding sea lion and orca alike, to provide sustenance to his young. Unfortunately, the orcas and sea lions have all died due to the oceans warming. All of their fish food has died too, due to ocean acidification and reef bleaching. This Emperor Penguin will return to his nest, empty mouthed and reside over an egg that will.never hatch. None of these eggs will. It is too warm, and this is one of the last times we will be able to record such a beautiful creature.”
Yay! Love this and Blue Planet.
Should be releasing soon hopefully. Even though no release date was shown, when it was announced it got a late 2023 air date.
That thumbnail looks a stealth bomber spitting water at a pesky dolphin.

Absolutely the best thing to watch while reasonably baked (at like a 7-8)
I’m gonna get clowned for this, but I cannot wait to watch this on the Apple Vision Pro
Anyone else tear up? Or is that just me lol. The beauty of this planet is immense
I want to want to watch this but I feel like it will ultimately be too terrifying and depressing.

It just clicked for me that the Roman numerals in the song name are consistent with the Roman numerals in the series name
….ANYWAY this continues to be the most exciting development, can’t wait to see/hear everything forthcoming from this amazing collab effort 🌏 🌋 🔺
Hype.
Welp, this completes the trilogy.
In the past, nature documentaries were *my jam.*

But when?
I’m very happy that there is still a place for these sorts of documentaries, screw discovery channel and animal planet for abandoning it
