This will probably wind up on AirBB
How do you know it’s a crash? Maybe it walked there and laid down.
Why does it look like the lady from Jurassic Park was photoshopped in?
Jurassic Park 3
[Two people died in this crash. Causes were: known flight into adverse weather conditions, and pilot-in-command’s impairment due to alcohol.](https://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/38801)
Fuck anyone who put graffiti on the plane
My kids and I have hiked that trail many times. It’s an interesting story if you look it up. The sad part for me is how vandalized it is now. People used to pick wild flowers along the trail and set them at cockpit. If I remember correctly, that’s a couple miles back. It’s not an official state trail. It’s a rough hike. Who would bring spray paint all the way out there? Frustrating.
Edit: thank you u/prophet001 for [looking it up](https://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/38801)
Yellowjackets vibes
Did you find any of these on board?

That plane looks like it crashed a lot longer ago than July 2022.
There’s a few of these in NY. One near the top of Mt. Marshall in the Adirondacks, and another on Stoppel Point in the Catskills.
Is it commonplace to just leave the wreckage there for 40 years?
Missed.
For a second I thought this was my photo. It’s crazy how much more graffiti it has now compared to a few months ago.

Wive and I were on that trail to check that out.. it was muddy and she was afraid of running into a bear, so she made us turn around and leave, only feet from where that plane is… a bummer
I have seen the last episode of this show and it’s sucked. The rest was good though.
This trail is only 45 minutes from my house! I’m gonna have to go check this out
Just curious, why hasn’t it been removed?
I wish they would find a way to remove the wreckage, it’s resulted in far too much foot traffic in an already popular area. I live 20 minutes away, and last time I hiked Waterrock to Lyn Lowry, someone had graffitied some boulders; but I’m guessing their main target was the plane.
