Damn, French Montana may lack Punchlines, but he’s overflowing with Patriotism..
And we still have yet to find those Weapons of Mass Destruction, aye?
Terrorism vs. Corporate Ran Terrorism
Personally I think Hussein was a monster. What pisses me off about the whole farce of his capture, trial and execution is that I had to sit there and watch this piece of shit decry his own mock-trial and realize he was right: it was a side-show trial devoid of justice, where guilt and sentence were predetermined.
I had to agree with this motherfucker.
I had to dive for the remote to shut off the TV when video of his execution aired five minutes after my stepson‘s cartoons had finished and he was still sitting there watching, five years old. And it was EVERYWHERE.. I still have not seen it to this day, and I had to fucking work at that.
I had to look around me and see the people of my own country and culture brought low by their own rabid bloodlust. All of this knowing we had armed this man with the weapons he used against his own people. This was a monster we helped to create, and here we were presiding over his death with a mask of faux righteousness, as if any one of the Americans screaming for his blood gave two shits about the Kurds or Kuwaitis.
The Iraq war made me ashamed of my country and heritage, but never so much as when I saw us become a nation-wide mob at the gallows.
Is that the interpreter in the pic?
I have mixed feeling about this. Iraq was a powder keg with Kurds, Shia, Sunni and other Terrorist groups funded by Saudi and Iran. Hussein kept the groups under control. It was foolish to remove him with out a proper succession plan. Like knocking out the one pillar holding the house up and then wondering why the whole house came down. Not arguing how bad Hussein was but should have been slowly replaced keeping the government intact and functioning. I don’t think US is so naive that they did not know this would happen. For some reason US just F’ed up that country for reasons unknown.
Nowadays this looks like a Tiktok challenge
