People in games are always quick to trust you, aren’t they? Just share their entire life story, motivations, secrets to a guy they just met 30 seconds ago. [Everspace 2]

  • It bothers me how every npc is a useless welp and the stranger to town who was badly injured and on the brink of death is relied on to fix everyones problems. I really detest it actually.

No why would i care about your family heirloom brooch being stolen? I don’t care to go find the bandit who stole it to retreive it for my own desire of selling it for myself.

And why would you trust that info to a complete stranger? especially if its expensive, i’d be more inclined to murder the npc that told me and raid their coffers.

  • Uhhh I have done this but to online gamers I tend to play with 😬. I remember when I became a father I was so excited to share the news. I sent pics to some online buddies. 😬 I went too far with strangers online. 😕

  • Skyrim:

Random naked lizard shows up at wizard college.

10 minutes later: “hey I found this ball”

10 minutes after that: “okay I got a staff so we can control the ball”

All the venerable old wizards, masters of magic who have been working there for decades/centuries: “Congratulations you are now king of magic! Take the keys to the college, and take these boss robes. You are now the absolute boss over all of us.”

Same random lizard then walks into thieves guild…
