    Wow. I disagreed with virtually every word in the first 20 minutes so gave up.

    Those movies are still being made, in droves. There is far, far more to choose from than there was in 1988. And the fact that they suggest only 4 stars have been “created” in the last few decades, and that movies stars no longer exist, is ludicrous.

    Wow. So much self important nonsense.

    Great production, though! Honestly mean that. Well made.

    Movies are dying because people are watching the remakes and sequels and unambitious riskless films that they complain about for being unoriginal, unambitious and riskless. People complain about mediocrity and yet keep consuming it out of “brand recognition” instead of supporting a new thing regardless of how good it looks. Tunnel vision when a recognizable IP is adapted. Nothing else matters.
