Patrick Ewing was a great player but not lucky in the post-season. I remember one playoff game he got 1 pt (forget which year that was in). Then in the next game a fan for the opposing team held up a sign that said “Patrick Ewing, 1 pt!? Even I could do better than that!”
One of the best burns I have ever seen in by a fan.
For curious designers… They took a film pic of Ewing, developed it, cut him out with an X-acto knife, and glued it to the skyline pic. Then they took another photo of the composition, including pasted on lettering. That’s some old school graphic design production work!
