Passan adds: MLB is looking into the social media posts and has yet to verify the information. This early in the process, without confirmed facts, Franco could be placed on the restricted list or administrative leave. The Rays, when asked about Franco not being on the plane, declined comment. https://twitter.com/JeffPassan/status/1690928261646176256
I don’t blame them because of the mess they would have made if they had brought him. I really hope the accusations are false.
It’s good that the rays are ahead of it. Possibly just carrying out their due diligence, or perhaps there is smoke where there is fire.
Passan’s follow-up: “MLB is investigating the social media posts but has not yet verified the information. Franco may be put on the restricted list or placed on administrative leave at this early stage of the case without any verified facts. When questioned about Franco not being on the plane, the Rays chose not to comment.

He was told not to make statements. And here’s Wander! Not very bright!
What are the allegations?
