The nemesis system was unrivaled, and I had no idea this game would be so much fun ($10 bargain bin pickup). Bought the DLC to go with it. The dismemberment, raising an army, giant battles, etc. Literally ticked every box off for me.
Both games of the series were really good with the benefit of the amazing Nemesis system. WB games did one of the smartest but also one of the worse things for gaming when their nemesis system was officially patented. It prevents anyone from using a system where characters learn from past interactions or events without WB directly involved.
Yeah couldn’t you keep killing your nemesis to the point he gets severe brain damage can’t even talk anymore and is missing an eye, arm, etc.?
The orcs in that game are awesome. And crazy.
There’s one , he’s like a legendary level 40 or something close to that, he has this creepy laugh, like he’s lost his mind. It’s kind of unnerving.

i only ever played the first one and remember loving it because of the nemesis system. is this one as good or better?
