My wife and I play Fortnite all the time, sometimes with our oldest child too. The sheer amount of hate it gets from the gaming community is laughable considering it’s responsible for some pretty cool advancements in online gaming – as well as the fact that it’s fairly easy to pick up and enjoy regardless of skill level.

I’m a jaded old gamer who will discuss the finer merits of the Souls games over a glass of 20 year old Scotch but I must say that playing Battle Royal together with my 7-year old son is pretty damn fun !
People who keep complaining about their favorite characters being in fortnite really get on my nerves. Like I don’t care if kratos does some stupid tiktok dance in game. It’s still genuinely a good game with solid gameplay, and just as a concept is crazy good. Like name one other game where you can have sasuke shoot rick sanchez while batman uses spider man’s web shooters to get over to master chief. The sheer scale of fortnite is amazing and people who complain about it are kinda idiots
