And I feel scammed because there was a bug on Xbox that made the zombies heads disappear after like an hour of playtime every time so o never finished it. I’m not even sure if that big was ever fixed
I know r/gaming is sick of shilling about Cyberpunk since 2.0 dropped but I really enjoyed Phantom Liberty.
My only real criticism is that if you’re a collector then a lot of the morality choices in gigs and side stories boil down to ‘which side offers the better unique/iconic weapon?’ instead of ‘which side do I support?’
The worst example is in the DLC’s endings (*spoilers*) >!siding with Songbird gives you a unique baton and revolver, whereas siding with Reed gives you a unique knife, LMG, explosive revolver, crowbar and SMG as well as unlocking a new ending for the base game!<.
Since Witcher has already been mentioned, I’ll say The Borderlands DLC with Tiny Tina being a DM for a hilarious take on DnD (while also being pretty poignant considering the tragic events of the main game) was totally worth it. Haven’t played it yet but it spawned its own full length game that I look forward to checking out eventually.
While I could call Fallout 4 as a good exploration-based FPS, while also seeing is as mediocre as an RPG and next to its predecesors, Far Harbor comes as an underrated DLC, which did what I hoped to see in the base game with the synth plot point. While I’d hoped for a more condensed, urban setting (Like Metro’s metro stations, urban ambience like Blade Runner in a landscape like The Pitt, mainly less fog and radiation, more dystopia), dialogue and choice was the best of the whole game.
Staying with Bethesda, I enjoyed Dawnguard sooo much, apart from a couple of hours of choppy gameplay of Vampire: The Masquerade and Vampyr, Dawnguard is to this day the main source to feed my need for a powerful vampire playthrough in a game.
Talking about DLCs in general every Fallout 4 DLC was worth it for me. Especially far harbor could’ve been a game by its own if it was a little bit bigger.
Bloodborne
Borderlands 1 and 2 (Haven’t played the other 2)
Bioshock
Prey
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Far Cry 3
Doom Eternal
Ghost of Tsushima
Horizon Zero Dawn
Not saying one is better than the other, but all of the listed above and some that aren’t listed were/are high quality content.
All Witcher 3 DLCs fit in this category. Hearts of stone had amazing story and added in a bunch of things and Blood of Whine could’ve been sold at a full 60$ price and I’d still feel it was worth every penny.
That’s when Rockstar were rockstars.

Obviously you never played the Witcher 3’s DLCs because those were top tier; almost whole new games.
I know r/gaming is sick of shilling about Cyberpunk since 2.0 dropped but I really enjoyed Phantom Liberty.

The main DLC for the Witcher 3. The game being your beer or not, one got to admit, the dlc added a huge amount of content.
I bought the GOTY edition so it came as a matter of course.
The only DLC I csn remember buying as a separate to main game was BOTW Champion’s Ballad. That was worth every penny

You should play Minerva’s Den dlc for Bioshock 2. Best dlc.
I talk about this game still
I can list dozens of DLCs that were great. The last one came out on the 25th of September.
What an obvious karma farming post.
You haven’t played many DLC’s then
Both of the DLC stories for GTA IV were great too
Fallout New Vegas DLCs want a word
Warcraft 3 TFT and Battlefield 2 Special Forces, Dark souls 3’s DLC are some of my favorite
Borderlands DLC’s are were it’s at too
Shivering Isles was pretty good too. Shored up a lot of base Oblivions weaknesses.

John Marston was so funny in this game. His wisecracks made it great.
Crazy to think about, but a DLC for a non-zombie game is still one of the best zombie games of all time.
Surprised nobody has mentioned Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne
Stardew valley.. free “Dlc” with loads of content.
Talking about DLCs in general every Fallout 4 DLC was worth it for me. Especially far harbor could’ve been a game by its own if it was a little bit bigger.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne takes the cake for me in this category
I regret killing the sasquatch or was that 2? I still feel bad about it.
Outer Wilds DLC :
“Am I a joke to you?”
Bloodborne
Borderlands 1 and 2 (Haven’t played the other 2)
Bioshock
Prey
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Far Cry 3
Doom Eternal
Ghost of Tsushima
Horizon Zero Dawn
Not saying one is better than the other, but all of the listed above and some that aren’t listed were/are high quality content.
Blood and Wine: Am i joke to you?
The Bethesda games have had some pretty meaty DLC:
Shivering Isles for Oblivion
The Pitt, Mothership Zeta, Operation Anchorage and Point Lookout for Fallout 3
Dead Money, Old World Blues, Honest Hearts and Lonesome Road for New Vegas
The Dawn of War Expansions also added new factions and campaigns to the base game: Winter Assault, Dark Crusade and Soulstorm.
The Witcher 3 DLCs were good too.
Shoutout to Shivering Isles
Bloodbornes the old hunters would like to have a word with you 💀
*While Undead Nightmare was great, there are a slew of other DLCS to experience as well.*
