I hate that helmet so much
If memory serves, Alan Tudyk’s wife choreographed this opening. And he served as the stand-in for John Cena who couldn’t rehearse with everyone else due to his schedule.
I know I’ll get downvoted for not conforming to the echo chamber, but I don’t really understand the hype for this. It’s just a dance sequence with weird choreography. It’s different, impressively executed and certainly not a bad opening, but yeah, I don’t get it.

Moves that require no hip movement, except for the weakest of hip thrusts. You can really see the back pain Cena was talking about.
Anyone else not like John Cena? He just seems like a try hard.
this was low-key the best DC live action offering. The Doom Patrol was better than I expected too.
This intro never gets skipped when I watch.
Thought that thumbnail was a Robot Chicken style puppet of him for a second.
I actually hated the opening the first time I saw it. Just seemed dumb and corny, but for whatever reason I never skipped it and by the end I was in love.

as a random honorable mention, the Asobi Asobase outro. (maybe watch the intro first to get an idea how wildly out of left field it is to see for the first time randomly. (maybe just watch the show. i don’t like anime but thought it was pretty funny))
