On this day in 1933: James Whale’s THE INVISIBLE MAN was released. This featurette shows how the impressive visual effects were achieved, and also comments on the various sequels that Universal produced.

Didn’t see it
Did you ever see this well-made parody, from **Amazon Women on the Moon**?

James Whale’s **The Invisible Man** is in my opinion, the most underrated Universal’s Classic Monsters film. Claude Rains’ performance is great, and menacing. The visual effects in the film are incredible, Jack Griffin’s design is great, and the film was quite dark and serious. The film should get more recognition.
