I’m old and I can remember when people believed that giving babies soda made them smarter. We had a neighbor who filled their baby’s bottle with Pepsi everyday.
My nephew had to be given coffee when he was a baby because of his hydrocephali, it helped him to keep breathing at night I think? Not sure, but he really did need a little coffee with no milk or sugar in it, haha
There is one sub-culture of a close US neighbor where people routinely give their infants coffee. I discovered this when one of my Sailors was under investigation for child abuse. This is a real thing. Not like someone who gives their infant coffee is going to read warning labels, but it’s definitely a real practice.
Consider all the idiots you know. Right. Now consider they are in the upper half of idiots. Consider now with this information that all products are labeled and geared to the lower half of idiots. There’s ya answe.
You honestly wouldn’t imagine the amount of people that give this crap to their infants. Then they try to tell you how Facebook and Twitter know better than a doctor or dietitian
Meanwhile, on a slow Sunday afternoon in Trailer Junction:
“Hay hunny, less give th’ baby ahced cawfee an’ record whut happens. Mebbe we can git it on th’ YewTewbs or on one a them videeo shows an’ make some munny.”
You know some dumb asshole gave it to their newborn and blamed the company on the wrongful death. I had no idea these companies need to be held responsible 😭 little Johnny would still be here if only they’d have warned me it twas not safe. Shame on them shame
My Mother in law gave my son diet Pepsi and said it was not going to hurt him. I kept my mouth shut because I didn’t want to have a fight for the rest of the weekend. ( son was 9 months old) figured 4oz was not going to hurt him. So when I didn’t make a fuss about it she stopped. Choose my battles carefully.
If there is a warning, then someone has done it.
It’s everything but coffee.
People have weird beliefs.

You can’t be this dumb… is what used to say… Now? …. Surprise me at least!
You need to get the lactose-free iced coffee to feed your baby.
Product of Saudi Arabia–nuff’said
I’m thinking it’s more to do with the caffeine
Made me think of the movie *Boss Baby*
I’m feeling an interesting story behind that
A good reminder
The fact that this is the only time they wrote in all CAPS means this happens WAY too often.
Must be good for my pets then
After seeing toddlers with coke in sippy cups, that warning is definately justified lol.
Shampoo instructions: Lather, rinse, repeat.
Wow that’s terrible. How could they give a baby milk?

Nevermind the 210mgs of caffeine that would kill an infant, it may contain milk…
Yeah, infants – get your ultra high dose of caffeine and sugar from elsewhere
For the baby that just won’t stay awake.

Interesting that it’s the lactose that’s being warned about… I’ll be giving my baby black coffee in future.
You honestly wouldn’t imagine the amount of people that give this crap to their infants. Then they try to tell you how Facebook and Twitter know better than a doctor or dietitian
You joke, but I just had my foreman defend and rationalize his pregnant wife’s drinking and eating habits, as ‘they’ve done the research’.
I’m not a smart man. I’m profoundly, fucking stupid. And I still know that you don’t do that shit.
What idiot made that label necessary???
You have to treat stupid people like they’re stupid
Why is this a shock, people are that stupid.
Side note: it’s so frustrating how all bottled iced coffee is some sugary chocolatey milky concoction. I just want cold coffee!
On products that use solar cells, garden lights etc., somewhere in the tiny writing is the statement “do not place in direct sunlight.”😄

unfortunately

Where funny?
Well what the hell else are you supposed to do when your baby is lethargic and cranky?
Adapt and overcome

No ma’ammmm
caffeinated babies are something else…
Liquid milk products are required by law to have this warning
I have an “aunt” that would put mountain dew in her kid’s baby bottles… we’re talking as early as between 6 months and a year old when it started
Damn, If only they made those coffee contain 100% caffeine so the baby can drink it. What a shame.
i mean don’t you keep your baby awake with coffee? you kill them? pycopath.
yeah, like people who would do that can read…
People are taking their infants to McDonald’s.. so these notifications are necessary.
Reminds me of the story of the underweight baby being fed almond milk. Almost died due to malnutrition and idiot parents
There was a story I recall where babies were given energy drinks so this label doesn’t surprise me.
It’s rather sad than funny ☹️
