Really curious how this will turn out. The first two were predicated on the killers killing because whatevs. If these new movies try to offer more of a motive or context for them, that would ruin the concept, wouldn’t it?
Ugh, we’ll see. Dont know why they have both the female killers with dark hair. I liked the one being blonde and the other having darker hair. Set them apart in a way. I really like the first one (saw it a year before it came out). Hated the second one. Hated all the characters and didn’t like the treatment the Strangers themselves got.
Finally! I can’t wait for them to spend three films developing the backstory of characters that literally only ever worked in any way because of the lack of knowledge about them.
Oh wow I really enjoyed the first when I saw it theaters forever ago. I completely forgot about this film. I didn’t know that made a squeal at all. I’ll have to look it up somewhere.
This is so weird coming from director Renny Harlin lol. I’m down for more Strangers films but I have little hope in the production. The original film will be hard to beat.
…and they’re making this a trilogy wtf?!?!?
I think the strength of the original film is in its straightforward, (mostly) realistic approach to a home invasion. But I suspect these movies are going to take the wrong lesson and try to up the ante by providing more backstory or characterization to the villains.

Loved the first movie.
Middle image looks like Groot is at the door.
Eh, for my money, Prey at Night proved the central concept didn’t have legs.
As in… Number three? Or all three films in one?
As one of the approximately twelve people who actually liked the second one I’m excited for this.
This time, they really come in three.
Artist is Matt Ryan Tobin. Has some other amazing movie prints if you’re into that.
The strangers is what we used to call sitting in both your hands until they go numb, and then you’d ….. well…..ya know…….
Are there 3 different films? Or is this the third in a trilogy? I’m low-key confused, can’t lie.
A stranger is just a friend who hasn’t killed you yet
Groot, what are you doing there??
Loved the first one. Second had a few cool scenes. There’s plenty of room to tell these stories in a good way.

I hope the victims don’t lose their cell signals at the worst possible time!

Missed opportunity for, ‘**The Strangers** *Thrill*ogy’
jesus christ, the first one sucked…how did this get to 3?!

I can’t believe they’re giving Renny Harlin the director gig.
Deep Blue Sea, is dumb but fun. As is Die Hard 2, and A Nightmare on Elm Street 4.
But you know what these movies aren’t? Tense suspenseful movies. I don’t think he’s a good fit for this all
TIL there was a second movie
I actually have high hopes for this trilogy. The Strangers is easily replicated enough to make it new and honestly scarier.

Nobody ever mentions Ils/them the French home invasion movie that precedes the Strangers and is far scarier.
