Look, we know that Elvis is the most interesting thing about her, but the woman just recently fleeced her own granddaughter Riley Keough out of the will of Lisa Marie.
I know it could be powerful statements about the age gap and what is scandalous now vs. the 50s, but damn. That’s *cold*.
I like Sofia Coppola and Jacob Elordi, but that is *not* a well designed poster.

I’m actually really excited for this. Admittedly, Elvis is not a person I know much about seeing as I was born long after his death. So it’s really cool that I get to see a film with the loving musician perspective of him, followed by a film with a more cynical perspective in such a short amount of time.
If Sofia is brave enough, this movie would be mainly centered around grooming on the fact that grown man Elvis who was 24 was in love with a 14 year old and shows how fucked up that is.
But considering the poster, it won’t be probably cause people and especially redditors on r/oldschoolcool like to gloss over that fact and act like he ain’t a creep.
Is it going to cover how he was a controlling nonce?

Also lots of hate against this poster but I think it works. Maybe the font and overall design was intentional? The image says it all and the typeface + color works for the era the film is set in
