That’s a really bad poster
I think the little kid gonna be scene stealer.
Saw the IMAX preview event last night. Looks fantastic and Edwards’s approach to making it on the (relative) cheap is brilliant. Reportedly, they shot most of the movie on-location around the world with a skeleton crew, and made a rough cut that they then comped the sci-fi elements and effects on top of instead of doing it all on sound stages and green screens.
Immediately became my most anticipated movie of the year.
I saw a trailer the other day, and I went from never hearing anything about it to very excited. I can’t wait it looks incredible
Starring Kawhi Leonard
The robot child apparently eats food, and robots are somehow the moral equivalent of people now…these are unripe thematic elements that only a true master could even attempt.
I swear to God these movie posters all look the same. Zero creativity.
We have Star Wars at home.
Star Field
Something about this gives me a Children of Men vibe
I love SciFi movies but for whatever reason I just don’t care about this movie. I get the feeling it’s going to be good. not great, just a normal solid movie that i’ll forget about after a few days. I hope I see something that makes me want to go see it, otherwise i’ll just wait for it to hit a streaming platform.
Isn’t this the one using fucked up footage in its trailer? Absolutely gross and turns me off the film entirely.
why they got holes in their heads
The feel is real
I loved the atmosphere of the trailer
Yea the visuals look incredible but this is yet another “tough guy escorts a young kid and grows a bond” story. Very tired formula
Pass
Curious to know why they don’t include Godzilla (2004) as part of the director’s credit.
Oh my god whyyyy
The first poster looked so cool, why are they making a floating head poster arghhhhhh
Starring (drumroll) A Nepobaby!
After I learned this movie used actual beirut explosion footage in the trailer I immediately gave this a hard pass.
All I see is the Lion King logo
Cautiously optimistic for this
I love that this sci-fi aesthetic is back. Its so good.
As an enjoy of rouge one I’m looking forward to seeing this and hoping he gonna be another renowned sci fi director.
I thought this was rebel moon
Head like a hole
So do y’all reckon this’ll be better than Rebel Moon or what?
Saw the trailer every time before Oppenheimer, feel I already know the ending.
Not really sure why so many stories are trying to create a moral dilemma surrounding robots
this movie is gonna bomb so fuckin hard, i can smell it. i hope it doesn’t, but i can’t see that happening
Very unhappy about the cast choices, this guy can’t act. He made Tenet an below average movie, while the plot had a lot of potential
Everything Denzel’s son is in is good.
I wish they would stop wasting big sci-fi budgets on David Washington. Dude is a horrible actor and a quintessential nepo baby.
Im fucking tired of these ‘transport the child’ shows and movies. Do literally anything else.
Using the tragic Beirut explosion footage where almost 200 people died, as entertainment / profit for this movie?
Not cool.
https://youtu.be/3mVMXeDLioQ
Yeah the film has actual footage of the Beirut explosion *as an effect*. Tactless at best.
Looks weird and interesting.
A nice combination.
Its gonna flop
The flopper
Is it a law or something for all ‘epic’ movies to use the same poster layout?
Hope it’s good. Can’t say John Washington inspires much confidence he’s been so flat
“This September, the guy that made a Star Wars thing brings you something that looks exactly like a Star Wars thing but it’s not Star Wars! Gareth Edward’s presents Not a Star Wars Thing! Coming soon.”
So excited for this movie. The wardrobe are badass
Folks should support a different/new IP on a small budget to spite the big guys 🫶
Please be good!
I’m so excited
Will this be the film to solidify John David as a leading man?
Awesome cornrows btw!
Anyone else see Batman in the poster?
