>”I am very proud of The Godfather, which certainly defined the first third of my creative life. With this 50th anniversary tribute, I’m especially proud Mario Puzo’s THE GODFATHER, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone is included, as it captures Mario and my original vision in definitively concluding our epic trilogy. It’s also gratifying to celebrate this milestone with Paramount alongside the wonderful fans who’ve loved it for decades, younger generations who still find it relevant today, and those who will discover it for the first time.”
Feels almost like a “spoiler” to portray Michael like this, unless the poster is commemorating the entire series – this isn’t what I think of when I picture the first movie.
Godfather is a tragedy masquerading as a story of triumph.
The plot ends with Michael “ascending” to his father’s position but the story is really about the fall of his humanity in order to achieve that position.
This is fucking atrocious looking

PLEASE STOP WITH FLOATING HEAD POSTERS
I can’t be the only one who hates this character collage style of poster. It’s just *so* uninteresting and lazy.
The 50 logo looks exactly like the one that WDW is using for their [50th anniversary.](https://advertorial.immediate.co.uk/walt-disney-world/50-anniversary-competition/) Just slightly thicker.
Lol Al Pacino and James Cann should sue. Look how they massacred my boy.
Is there only one poster designer left in the industry? Getting tired of these floating head setups.
The Godfather Awakens
James Caan looks so weird on this

It insists upon itself
Can’t be the only one that thinks that this looks like something you’d get in a bargain bin.
Michael’s head looks so odd here.
This would fit just perfectly printed on some shiny fabric hanging on as a partition in a shitty flea market booth
Godfather: Revenge of Ultron
#this has nothing on the Godfather poster from Ghana

According to this poster, they should cast Kumail Nanjiani as Fredo in the reboot.
As much as I like Godfather, this poster is ugly af. Looks like a fan made one.
This poster makes me angry
The Godfather: Infinity War
Best movie ever made. 10/10
That looks awful.
why is this poster trying to put some dirt in my eye
Robert Duvall was 41 when they filmed this. Dude’s still making movies.
I swear the best character was the don himself
Best summation of Godfather I’ve heard:
Godfather is a tragedy masquerading as a story of triumph.
The plot ends with Michael “ascending” to his father’s position but the story is really about the fall of his humanity in order to achieve that position.
next poster will be a crossover with goodfelas
They did a terrible job with the picture of the bride .
