My condolences, she looks like a lovely lady
This is such a sweet photo. Glad this moment was captured.
My condolences. Cheers to having such a precious photo.
This is a great picture to keep right next to your heart.
Wishing you peace, OP.
That sort of kindness is so beautiful, as was your wife.
Best wife pic yet. π₯
Sorry for your loss.
I was wondering about posting a picture of my late wife too. glad you did and I’m going to think about it
Iβm so sorry for your loss. Being left behind is one of the hardest things to survive. Keep keepinβ on.
I see the Fall decorations in the background and it makes this photo look even more cozy.
I hope you have an amazing day!
It was just a ploy by the woodpecker to get held!
My condolences. I’m sure you’ve shared some beautiful memories with the beautiful and amazing person that she seems to have been. Hope you’re doing alright π
Bird willingly sitting on her? Disney princess.
I’m sure she’d have been a wonderful human being. Birb lady.
Oh, your wife was so lovely.
Kat wins. What a beautiful memory.
Beautiful pic, it’s so cute
What a sweet photo
Beautiful and precious. β€π
beautiful.
You should put a woodpecker feeder out in honor of her!
She looks sweet and kind. She reminds me of my late grandmother, a sweet southern lady from small town Alabama π
My heart skipped a second when I saw this; she looks so much like my mom who passed in 2019. If they were anything alike, we miss the hell out of both of them. Peace.
Woodpeckers make a weird noise when you pick them up. I had a pileated woodpecker that for some reason was in my yard and seemed in distress. I was able to walk right up to it, pick it up in a towel, and then I set it on the porch with some water and a few acorns. I guess it got it’s wind back after an hour or so and flew off. The next summer I noticed that a set had nested in an old oak in my back yard. They are pretty neat animals.
Dude I’m sorry for your loss. She looks like a kind and wonderful lady. I hope you’re doing well
I’ve taken to asking people with poor decision making skills, “you eat like a woodpecker, don’t you?”
A picture of your beautiful wife holding a woodpecker who beat himself up by eating makes my saying all the more poetic.
My condolences on the loss of your beloved.
If I’m not mistaken, I believe during mating season, male woodpeckers will find something loud that they can peck against and they use that as a mating call. Like maybe a tin roof, or a dead piece of resonant wood.
Gives me a chuckle to think this little guy might have pecked himself loopy trying to attract a mate.
I can’t be the only one who noticed that this photo was taken 11111 and today is 22222?
First of all, so sad to hear about your wife and hope your doing OK. Anytime you want to talk about kat the redditors will help!
Also kat holding a bird Eh! Now that’s comedy.
