Apparently, not all regions of Japan do this. This was sent by Osaka prefecture where I’m lucky enough to be living.
There’s lots of microwavable rice, various sauces and sides to eat with the rice, a bunch of soup packets, some sports drink powder, a bunch of juice/milk boxes, a couple of instant noodles, some masks and alcohol wipes, a couple of sweetbreads, a couple of cans of vegetables/fruits, a pack of granola, packs of freeze dried seaweed salad, sports drinks in jelly form so it’s easier to drink in bed, cough drops, sausages, and a banana.
This is for 10 days, and I assume I’m expected to supplement it with whatever I already have and use this to tide me over until I can get more fresh food delivered.
Anywhere I can purchase a Japanese COVID Quarantine supply kit like this? It looks oddly fun to dig into.

Must be nice to live in a functional country.
