I will support this company as much as I can on my cross country traveling.
Plus, they have the world’s cleanest bathrooms
Beef Jerky Bar *plus* healthcare?
What is this, Silicon Valley?
Many of their travel stops are Christmas travel busy almost every day of the year. They draw people in like no other travel stop.
They can totally afford to pay their employees really well…
I really despise the whole pay bracket thing, tell me what the position pays, because if you want me to be a department lead, you better believe I’m wanting $32/hr, stop this low balling shit, tell people what they are going for.
It’d be cool if they added a “we won’t treat you like trash” clause.
Team Lead not worth the extra responsibilities for those pay ranges though.
Our county in NC just blocked them putting one of these up just down the highway.
I am surprised at how many people here don’t really know how shit of a job it is to work at Bucees.
Just look up literally ANY employee testimony and pretty much everyone agrees that Bucees is a nightmare job (one such example is that they give you a literal 5-minute lunch-break, which is taken standing up in a back-hallway).
Bucees only proudly shows off what they pay new hires to get people interested and get popular public opinion VIA posts like these. You have fed into their hand.
Well, they pay their employees right. Not necessarily treat them right. Maybe it was just that one thread, but discussing Buc-ees, many ex-employees posted that it was not a good company to work for. Could be untrue, only saw it there.
If they gotta put in on a sign like this, im going to guess they have a high turn over rate.
Yeah I’ve heard they don’t give breaks tho
You clearly never work at buccees, they treat their employees like disposable trash. Because they think there are people line up behind you to take your job. And when people are fed up and quits, short staffed and you still need to get 10 people worth of duties done with 3 people.
They’re actually horrible employers! I worked there for 5 months and it was the single most apathetic environment I’ve ever been in! Fuck Buc-ee’s, it is not worth it
I don’t know what a 401k is (despite seeing Americans mention it all the time) but three weeks paid leave is tragic.
The minimum required by law in the uk is 28 days.
Funny you say that. Bucees is widely known in Texas as one of the worst places to work.
Europeans are reading this thinking “wtf who would ever take that job” lmao
You say “treats employees right,” I say “20 an hour is literally minimum what anyone who has to work at a rest stop this fucking large and deal with this many customers at once deserves”
Even if there weren’t many, many people here noting how badly Buc-ees actually treats their employees, there’s no way in hell a glorified gas station, ESPECIALLY one that is based in Texas and expanding throughout the South, treats their employees particularly well.
No they don’t, turnover at buccees is extremely high for 90 days, people will literally see dollar signs and ignore everything else that is considered when working a job.
It’s amazing to me that “three weeks of paid time off” is something they can… Advertise. That’s below the minimum legal amount in most modern countries.
They don’t give you hours.
I love how every time this propoganda picture goes around the comments instantly call out how horrible that company is and how it treats its employees like less thsn dirt.
I live near several. It’s a horrible place to work. It’s so bad they have to put signage like that and pay that high because turnover is rapid. They treat you like shit.
no they don’t. bucees has a fucking awful toxic work culture.
5% 401k match that’s free money
