I love how he doesn’t simply take off the sock to mend it

Almost thought he was getting his toe nails clipped with socks on. Phew~~ I thought I was going crazy….
That is so sad and pathetic looking.
On the other hand, I was once at a kind of awards thingy for girl scouts for my daughters. I was sitting in the audience, and I looked over in front of me. There was a girl there with her mother. She had one of those cloth sash things that had merit badges affixed to it.
Normally you expect badges to be sewn on. This girl had all the badges stapled on. I guess they did not have the sewing merit badge.
Well so long as it works π
Donβt laugh. I once tore my trousers at the crotch at work right before I was training a roomful of clients. In desperation I stapled it together in the loo right before we started.
Didnβt anticipate a) the cold metal jaggedness Iβd feel on my perineum when I tried to sit down and b) how hopeless my βfixβ was when I stood up to a *rrrrriiiiipp* sound as each staple popped out one by one causing further tearing.
I had to pretend nothing had happened as some of the clients looked puzzled out the sound they just heard as well as why I was standing stock still with my thighs pinned together trying to hold back the redness and sweatiness.
Ah those were the days.
Learning to sew was one of the best choices.
I have fixed so many things. I even stich up my socks, and get another 6 months out of them, by just adding less than a pennies worth of string.
I stich up my pillows, pants, shorts. Shirts are harder to do, because I’m not an artist, and can’t make cool designs to cover up the damage.
Edit:sow to sew
I have so done this….it’s a temp fix and saves your toe slipping through the hole and cutting off your circulation the whole day….
Throw them out when you get home….
Two men, one sock
Your toes going through holes in socks feels horrendous. I would do that shit πππ
I feel like they might not understand the basic reason for wearing a sock. Not sure how comfortable that’s going to be.
Hahahahhahaah thatβs comical
Bruh, I’ve had 4 or 5 staples sealing a hole in the pocket of my uniform pants for almost a year now…
When things are difficult we get creative.
If women don’t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy
Staplers are for hems. Tape from the first aid kit is for socks!
I’ve done this. It works to a degree. You have to use pliers to really clamp down the staple then super glue it or the threads slip out and you need several staples. Works better on jeans and thick fabrics.
Okay who *hasnβt* tried to fix a broken sock with a stapler? Because I have
I’ve seen a guy trying to fix the hem of his pants that came off with a binder clip. It kept clanging on the furniture every time he moved. Until someone suggested a paper clip.
I worked in a prison. I ripped my pants leg on a rack and stapled it up till I could get someone to relieve me so I could go change. You gotsbto do what you gots to do
If you have a friend who will help you fix your sock with a stapler, hang on to them.

Should last for at least 5 more years π
those bros must be close bros to do that for a fellow bro.

Tool Time: Season 4 episode 19: The Naked Truth
Tim: I hate to pry, fellas. What are you doing?
Brad: Randy split his [socks] doing the limbo.
Tim: And you’re using a stapler to fix it? That’s material on human flesh [down] there, pal. Let me get my hot glue gun.
I already tried that, but with my pants haha
It identifies as a sewing machine, please don’t be a bigot.
Christmas not far away. Got make them last till then π
Look at the adorable monkeys using tools to fix a problem. Evolution
That kinda genius is a gift from above!
This is great human content
I rather have holes in my socks
Let them cook
Found the guys who remodeled my house last.
Just a quick fix and we move along.
