Our DM made homebrew magic items for us. They’re stuffed animals in the shape of dinosaurs. Whenever we take a short rest, snuggling the “snuggle beast” let’s you roll a d6 and add it to your recovered hit points. Doesn’t do much, but it’s incredibly cute. Especially since this is a very dark game we are playing.
My 12 yr old daughter is in a D&D club after school, and she and her sister (10) play gurps with my husband (their dad) and his friends sometimes. They still love their build a bears.
All I see right there are 2 38 year old men one who has short brown hair and glasses and is wearing a wizard hat and robe and has no beard and another with long blonde hair in a ponytail with a beard wearing a plaid shirt with a d 20 necklace
You get the kids hooked early!

Why should DND be exclusive to tiny miniatures?
You’ve never truly played pretend with a little girl, then.
What a weird thing.
First, I looked up “Build a Bear DND” and was directed to “the bear cave” on their site, with a warning that it was for 18+ only.
OK… are we going to have nymphs or what’s going on here.
Clicked through on my phone and there are all of five items:
* A dragon

* A bear with a DnD shirt
* Just the DND shirt
* A stand for the bear

Perhaps these are just the NPC’s

DnD is old enough now that multiple generations of us have children.
This is entirely a demographic.
