Based on the drainage patterns of those rivers, this is either VA or PA. And given the way storms develop in the east, it’s probably a summertime thunderstorm cell, which would have popped up along the squall line very quickly. That’s likely why the plane didn’t adjust sooner
The ol’ revolving door
*When pssilbe make a U-turn*
Airspace roundabout
Is that the void or something

The pilot is obviously not an ambi-turner
White = hail
Planes don’t take hail damage well.
Once a pilot told me when I was traveling in the cockpit: “red means aircraft torn apart”
lol! literally a 360 nope
Ships usually do too
Why wouldn’t he continue going on the left of the storm.
here we see a pilot successfully avoiding France at the last minute
Why not just go right? Why the loop-de-loo?
Hit him with that spin move.
I’m scared
This is captain Derek Zoolander, we will be making a slight detour to avoid a storm, our arrival time will be slightly delayed

Do a barrel roll!
Nope-de-loop
Planes usually fly above 36000ft which is where the troposphere ends. They fly above the weather.
I guess this plane isn’t capable of just turning to the right.
Seems the pilot had to get all fancy and juke the storm. “Hah, you *thought* I was going left…sucka.”
Stolen plane. No one took the club off the steering. Can only make left turns.
Ah yes, a standard way to avoid bad weather in a plane…quite funny
Lol
Tower this is ghost rider requesting a fly by
Russian oligarch on board.
I like to imagine the pilot was trying to trap a tiny piece of the storm in the flight path, but missed
Must be an ex nascar driver
