*the sound of Detroit crying out in pain*
Yeah that’s crazy, it’s almost like trades can happen and players can go to different teams. Wild.
The universe is shifting towards the lions winning the super bowl. Stafford was the messiah to ending the curse all along, we just had to sacrifice him and send him away. He took down Tom Brady and with that Aaron Rodgers is leaving Green Bay. Now we have this. Detroit’s time has come
Not gonna lie I would’ve laughed in their face if they told me that. The Bengals? The worst team in the AFC North?
Gotta give credit where it’s due. Joe Burrow is the fuckin truth. Matt Stafford has surprised me too. I think he was meh at best. Dude had Megatron and couldn’t win a playoff game. Happy for both, but I’m pulling for the bengals.
Never thought I’d say that lol
I think Hell just froze over.
As an SEC fan, I am happy with this Super Bowl
I sometimes think the NFL is rigged or something. It’s like #1 and #2 seed teams in AFC handed the games on a platter to a bunch of kids from Ohio
This is the coolest super bowl ever. I’m a Rams fan but even if Cincinnati wins it’d be cool.
We should call it “The Improbabowl”!
This is absolutely great for the NFL
Maybe I’m being a negative Nancy but the Super Bowl is more fun when there’s a clear villain. Outside of Kroenke, I can’t really think of any in this one.
Funny how the Bengals QB doesn’t even have a name in this.
Lions vs bengals would have been better. Maybe it’s happened in the wild already.
It’s wild the revisionist history going on now, guys saying “Detroit was the problem not Stafford” lmao Matthew Stafford has the most INTs thrown since he came into the NFL out of any QB in the league, he has the most pick 6s out of any QB in the league too, people want to keep acting like he wasn’t a part of the problem in Detroit with his losing more than half his games
He had Megatron, one of the top WRs in the league for 7 years, and never got close to winning a playoff game let alone his division. In 2014 the Detroit Lions had the second best defense in the entire NFL and 5 pro bowlers and he still lost to the Cowboys blowing a 14-0 lead and scoring only 3 points in the second half
He’s on arguably the most talented team in the league with the best player in the game Aaron Donald, the top receiver in Kupp, a hall of famer Von Miller, one of the top dbs in the league Jalen Ramsey, that’s why he’s succeeding, I’m happy for him but guys are really buying into this false narrative he wasn’t part of the reason the Lions sucked
Jared Goff took almost the same team minus Von Miller and Jalen Ramsey to the super bowl
I am slightly crabby about this outcome as a Browns fan and Stafford doubter who got really sick of hearing/reading people talk about him as some sort of victim. However, the games were all really good and I can appreciate the surprise factor.
I’m so torn between wanting Stafford to win it after everything he did in Detroit. But I also want to see this LSU rookie make his statement in the game. Either way, I think this is the best NFL postseason we’ve had in a long time.
