The soundtrack, especially the main theme was FUS RO DAH amazing. It’s almost a RPG by itself – when 0:28 – 0:50 hits, you can swear that’s exactly what it feels like, to be a Dovahkiin.
In this season of dissing Starfield, let’s spare a thought for Jeremy Soule and what magic he could’ve conjured for the game. He’s no longer around for a reason, as we all heard, and I don’t know enough to judge, but I’m pretty sure a Starfield theme by Soule would’ve rocked us for years to come.

Jeremy Soule pulled all the stops for this one. Still listen to it today!
And for me the reaction was “so they ruined the Morrowind theme with a bunch of animals grunting”
Recently I’ve been replaying Skyrim again in hopes of finally finishing the main quest and despite the awful combat, there IS something special about this game.
Also dabbled in The Outer Worlds simultaneously and while the writing there is brilliantly creative and some of the RPG systems are much better thought-out compared to Skyrim, it just doesn’t have the same “pull”.
Gonna skip the part where I say yah a bunch of times. Straight to the lyrics forge and craft some fucking rhymes. If it’s anything like smithing in Elder Scrolls 5 I’ll exploit this motherfucker till I’m level 99. You make an iron dagger. You enchant that shit, too. No more iron ingots? Run that bitch through.
