This is awesome, but the only thing I can think about it the electric bill that man must have to pay when he turns everything in. “Tell me you’re rich without telling me you’re rich”. Everything is set up extremely well. Gorgeous spot
Edit: This comment made way too much of a fuss. Reddit never changes. I said the “tell me you’re etc..” as that’s the first thing that my brain went to, with the amount of machines and electricity, because I live on a very strict budget. I wasn’t commenting on OP flaunting or even saying he was rich in the first place. It’s just the first immediate non context thought I had within the first 2 seconds of the video. If you notice the beginning and end of what I said, was very complimentary and I understand most people work hard for what they have. Some of you guys take this shit personally or look way too much into it. And until you have this exact set up and know what it costs to run stop assuming or guessing or saying well it’s just these parts.. bla bla blah, because the fact of the matter is you don’t know.. you’re assuming. Chill out
It’s both cool and kind of sad… a lot of my fondest memories were at local arcades. Playing Marvel Vs Capcom 2, DDR, Soul Calibur 2, House of the Dead, Point Blank, street fighter 3, etc all during the golden age of arcades before online play really took hold and killed the arcade.
On the one hand it would be awesome to own an arcade like this in one’s house. On the other, a huge part of the appeal was that it was a hub for likeminded people to come together and play and that would be completely lost. It’d be a ghost-town of an arcade and it would probably end up seeing very little use from me.
Everyone here talking about how much it costs, I’m wondering how noisy it is to have that up lol. I remember how noisy my local arcade was back in the day! But pretty cool nonetheless, invite us all over 🙂
It bugs me way more than it should that Frogger is blocking off that closet and making it inaccessible. Who wastes perfectly good closet space like that?
Wanted to see how the comments devolve into, WRREEE!!!! TOO MUCH MONEY. Was not disappointed, if i could have a room like this i would but itd only have games id play.

This is much better than universal health care. You’re right!
An expensive hobby, but all very cool!
Edit: typo
Digital pinball machines are a crime against humanity. 8/10
MK2 . Me and you
This is too cool. I’m charging hour long passes
I know I’m jealous this is awesome
You should become an investor in Arcade 1Up, LOL.

90’s kid me dreamed about having this
Where’s POLYBIUS?
Looks a lot more than 3 quarter arcades. My math might be off…
XMen was legit! Nightcrawler was my jam
so cool
Could have saved a lot of money [implementing this mod](https://youtu.be/09DQCOr6zQM).
The room reminds me of that FNAF game with the party room filled with arcades.
I dream to one day be able to have a big home arcade using Arcade1up (I don’t even have room for one right now lmfao)
Crazy how most of those games now exist in a lot of geeks pockets
Cool but you really need one of those racing arcade machines with the steering wheel and pedals. No arcade is complete without it.
3 quarters? Back in my day games used to cost 1!
What if all I wanted was 1 full size ultimate off road arcade? How could I make that happen and not cost 5000?
I have tools and electrical skills…
That’s gonna be one hell of a utility bill but that’s just the old man in me speaking.

Well, it reminds me when I was playing The Sims 2 and doikg room like this in all the house I built
Pac man?
Geez that whole room just smells like Chuck E. Cheese to me…
Just died of nostalgia
This is what the back of the bicycle shop owners place would look like in a modern diff’rent strokes remake.
This is fucking awesome!!!
Its all fun and games until your playing NBA JAM and catch a skeeball to the knee cause someone is getting a little too rowdy on the lane.
Where’s NBA JAM AT!?
Nice!
What do you do for a living?
Then you charge neighbor kids 25cents per play coin and you will acquire your kid dream: owning an arcade shop
Missing cool space carpet – 1/10

Just kidding. This is beautiful.
It’s just not the same though without all the cigarette smoke, sticky floors, and some teen dominating the mk2 machine…
Am I the only one that noticed the little kid wiping boogers on it?
Thats my arcade. Guess its famous now. lol

As someone who has played a few 1UP machines, I hate them. Those old games are 100% made for CRT not LCD and they look like pixelated shit.
My back hurts just looking at all these
