This is such a dilemma for me.
– The first one was okay.
– The trailer for this one was horrible and looked like a CGI mess
– Why care about these universe-building DC films when Gunn will reset after this.

But then again:
– Patrick Wilson.
I’m excited for the scene when Mera takes a massive shit on Jack Sparrow’s bed.
It could make a billion dollars, which it would be the funniest thing in this year.
The heads look so poorly photoshopped.
At first I was like cool Kevin Costner is in the movie but I was like wait he’s old and this guy looks way to young to be him.

I can’t wait for this to come out so I can stop hearing about it.
I can’t wait to not see it!
You know, I really dig that they wanted to explore the relationship of these two characters.
The first movie at least had the audacity to throw the kitchen sink at the wall and just go full bonkers by the end (it totally won me over). I hope the sequel has a similar bonkers pace/energy

Patrick Wilson is probably the only draw this movie has for me. I don’t think Willem Dafoe is in this one.

My wife commented on the trailer that the floating CGI hair was deeply distracting and I agree with her.
This movie is basically just a video game cutscene with actors photoshopped into the scene. It looks ridiculous.
