Phoenix is a great actor, but this looks cheesy.
Napoleon was in his 20’s when he went to Egypt. Became emporer in his early 30’s. Perhaps they should’ve casted a younger actor than Joaquin Phoenix.
That is a really dull poster compared to the almost over-produced trailers they’ve been releasing.

That’s the cleanest poster yer that tells a story. Even the text at the bottom doesn’t clash with Joaquin Phoenix.
Initial posters were better
The title is the one word on the poster where it would’ve fit better if they used the condensed font… and they didn’t use it.
I think this poster stinks and is far too heavy handed in its symbolism. Also, it looks like Napoleon is smelling a Bonafarte.
