Was he a part of an “italian” movie crew who toured Nazi Germany by any luck? Working on mountaineering movies and things like that?
Very sharp dresser: Double-breasted dinner jacket with peak lapels and a white (or pink) carnation in the button-hole. Starched formal shirt with subtle, probably pearl studs, paired with a bat-wing bow tie. Neatly groomed hair slicked back and carefully trimmed mustache.
10/10 for old-school elegance.
