When I played WoW, I had to play in secret to play a time limited free trial (couldn’t pay money because I was a child), and my parents found out about me playing and grounded me from using the computer.
God I envy people whose families don’t condemn them for playing videogames, must be nice.
Gave wotlk classic a try for some nostalgia and lfg chat and the chats for every guild that tried recruiting in the starter zones were all filled with fanatical Trump supporters and anti-vaxxers shouting about the “fake vax”. I did not end up playing long.
Poor kids going to be confused as hell when he gets his own account and details damage meters don’t pop up for him.
For those non players reading, you can see the add-on window on the right of the screen – wow is a lot easier with these in place. I use details myself.
thus is me and my brother with my daughter playing fortnite.
Poor guys we versed were crippled by us then left for her to shoot dead. the guy at the end was struggling to shoot us while we got her to sneak up and shoot him
Introducing young kids to gaming is fine… to MMORPGs on the other hand? Whose sole reason for existing it is to rob you of as much of your time as possible (and money as well)? I’d question the decision-making here, but hey, not my kid. 😉
I try all the time to teach my nephews how to play games.
They want to play games but they’ve been too overexposed to mindless pvp shooters like fortnite and apex that I cant get them to actually settle down while playing anything.
One of them wanted to play Assassin’s Creed but got mad because his first instinct was to just start randomly killing everyone he saw, which got him a game over.
I’ve tried to get them to play minecraft, but they only want to play creative mode, and in creative mode all they do is break things. They ask me to help them build a house and as soon as I turn away anything that got built is being blown up with TNT. Then they get bored of the game quick because it’s creative, but they dont have the patience to play survival.
One of them really wanted to play the Just Cause games after seeing me play, but just wants to drive around blowing stuff up, and gets mad when they dont have all the cars and weapons unlocked because they dont want to play the story.
Same with the Spiderman games that came out recently. They like to swing around the city but have no patience for anything story related or actually learning the combat. They just want to swing around and if they get in a fight, try to mash the punch button until the enemy is down.
Cute as hell :3
Nerds!… Candy.
Hope he was having fun, which game is it?
Please turn off trade chat.
It can also work the other way. My sons who had a lot of experience introduced me to WOW. We had a lot of good time with it.
Being a gaming mentor is a rewarding experience. That’s good bonding.
Dude sweet, I too want to ruin my nephew’s dopamine system and set him up for failure hahaha fuck deez kids amirite 🤠
“Now press F to troll trade chat.”
That is so cute.

More like when my mom asks to play lol.
You should try Guild Wars 2! It’s an MMORPG similar to WoW but the base game is free, with the dlcs being a one time buy with no monthly subscription!

“My grandsons first addiction”
Man, you kept the DPS meter on? You trying to raise an LFG troll?
Just show him heroin, it’s less addictive.
Eww don’t do that. He’s 15 years too late.
Ew is that wow

His son clearly doesn’t care about his grandson.
I’m not so sure that’s a good idea.
Time to teach the next generation, first lesson, ganking
Pov: he trades big ass stuff for shit

ANAL [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]
Is your grandson adopted? Wow players are virgins
That’s really proud and wholesome as hell
And I see he made an orc. Zug zug
If you really cared about him, you wouldn’t show him wow.
This is child abuse.
Don’t do it!
Yes set him up to not have any hobbies and play video games all day.
I have a friend who’s desk looks like a garbage can threw up on it. Teach him to keep the game throne clean too.
Omg is that sodadroppin???

I’ll do this with my kids when they’re older. Very excited for it
Why not introduce him to opioids at the same time?
Having been addicted to certain types of games in the past, I am very wary of what sort of games I let my son play.
Yeah ruin his life
That is a gamer table
Everybody focuses on Wow addiction.
I’m more worried about the glass full of liquid next to the laptop. It gives me shivers.
Stop him before it’s too late!
I am purposely not introducing kids to things that consumed my life.
Am I stupid? How can that be your son’s nephew while simultaneously your grandson.
What am I missing without incest?
Why would he do that? He’s got his whole life ahead of him…
I love this. In the midst of a 3 year return bout of WoW. Close to taking a break again hahaha.

Gotta get em hooked early
