That was a Sunday. The Simpsons episode ”Round Springfield’ first aired – When Bart is hospitalized, Lisa runs into her mentor Bleeding Gums Murphy, who is also a patient, and becomes devastated when he dies soon after.
Looks a lot more 80’s than 90’s to me, specifically the NES laying on the ground. Also those wood grain organizers below the TV look VHS sized, not cassette. The VHS player is directly below so that would logical imo.
Also looks like a cassette player is below the turntable on that audio rack to the left, hard to make out if that’s one of the sprockets for a tape or something else. It wouldn’t make any sense to put cassettes on the video rack in any event.
