Pictured here is my US-version Sega Saturn console with an “Action Replay” cartridge which allows it to play Japanese import games like “Virtual-On: Cyber Troopers,” an *awesome* giant-robots-fighting-each-other game. Virtual-On: Cyber Troopers was originally an arcade game featuring dual joysticks, so naturally Sega released the “Saturn Twin-Stick” in Japan specifically for this game.
You can play Virtual-On with a normal controller, but playing it with this Twin-Stick setup just feels amazing – the controls bring the game to life, and it looks fantastic with the Saturn connected to this Sony professional-level CRT monitor via “RGB” cables.
Here’s [a short Imgur gallery](https://imgur.com/gallery/sGM34cu) with more pics of the Saturn Twin-Stick box, which is itself a work of badass 1990’s-era giant robot art!

Thats awesome!
The music randomly gets stuck in my head every so often.
Virtual-On is like my favorite arcade staple. It always gets a few dollars worth of plays out of me everytime. Espdcially if you have the side-by-side competitve pairs.

I was never a Sega guy (I had NES, SNES, PS1 growing up) but over the years I have been more intrigued with the Sega Saturn/Dreamcast. There’s a lot of cool games that were exclusive to those consoles
The temjin747j with that little surfboard move slapped. I had a Virtual On game for the ps2 that I loved.
I remember playing this at Chuckie cheese.
I played the hell out of this on my Saturn and then the later one on the Dreamcast.
I still don’t know what an Oratorio Tangram is but I’m glad Virtual-On had one.
