Dune twice?
Good for you! I’m going to have to look into some you read. Any favorites?
Did you like the Grant book? It’s next on my list.
What’s Chesty? Sounds like a 1960’s soft core porn magazine.
Impressive! I’m trying to get back into reading again now that my studies are nearly finished. What was your favorite read last year?
Still another 4 Dune books.
It’s to bad more people don’t read books. P.S. the book I’m reading now is ” Just Dope ” by Allison Margolin. Just finished a chapter about River Phoenix death and his unusual upbringing.
Consider “Bloodlands” for 2023.
Thanks, looking forward to it.
I’ve just started getting into reading. Any books you’d recommend to read? Some of your favourites?
I was going to ask about the book on Grant but I see a previous comment. Had you read his memoirs?
So if you notice any themes; I’m reading histories of countries alphabetically, biographies of U.S. Presidents chronologically, I like reading about Ethiopia because I used to live in Tigray, and last year I look a long trip to South Africa so I read up on that.
Nice. The Grant bio was the longest book I’ve ever read. Was decent IMO, but a little slow right after reading the Stonewall Jackson bio – Rebel Yell.
We can have fun speculating what book is to the left of Lincoln? 😉
How was The Silk Roads? It’s been on my list for a long time
Which of those biographies sticks with you the most?
Damn dude, how fast do you read? I only got through 13 last year.
Is that blue dune book Messiah? It looks big to be that 300 pager.
Ah you took a picture or mine too, bottom right corner
I say, that’s bloody brilliant. Keep up the good work 🧐
I re-read Dune this past year. It did not get any easier to read!
How did you like Che?
Good job!!! I used to be like this, now I can’t make it through a book.
Other than Dune, which one would you read again, purely for pleasure?
how do you manage to read so much? i have a goal of reading 24 books over the next year, but im not sure how to break it down.
