The best starter for sure! Funnily enough my first Pokémon’s game was HeartGold and Cyndaquil was my first choice. I think on my first play I ended up only levelling up Typhlosion though and got stuck on Lance since I didn’t understand type advantages, also didn’t understand how eruption worked.
I had that exact same colour GB but I played gold instead! Soul silver ended up being my absolute favourite game when it came out… best in the series other than the ridiculous level curve once you hit blackthorn

I had that same teal gbc. So when I bought my 3DS I made sure I got the teal one too. Wish I was able to get a real switch

I have that same Teal GBC and my original copies of all the Pokémon games. I too played silver, because I thought Lugia was dope.
So that’s where my lost GBC and copy of Pokémon Silver went. Been looking for it for years now.
