Starter fertilizer with tenacity is the answer for everyone’s grass growing problems. And lots of water. Best time to plant is in fall, not Spring like some people say. Nice powdery top soil raked in to existing soil throw in some seed and the fert and tenacity, put a little penn mulch on top then water it to keep it wet
