It’s like trying to teach a kid how to play videos games for the first time and you’re trying your hardest teach them how to use the joysticks and they’re just not getting it lmao
Man, I don’t get the hate. Remember, it’s a game. It’s a guy spending time with his Mother and making a fun memory. I wish my Mom was still here so I could hear hear laugh at how ridiculous an adventure this was.
why do old ladys have this thing were they can’t even be bothered to try and put effort into learning new things? All my mother does is watch tv and she still doesn’t understand how to change inputs on the TV because she refuses to take the 5 seconds to learn.
Wait, I already know: stiff upstanding posture all the way up to the line and letting go of the ball from hip height = loud thump, dent in the alley and straight in the gutter 9/10 times, even though she has repeatedly seen how to do it properly from the other players banging strikes left and right xD
My Girl-Friend is also really bad at golf. I took her to Top Golf once and it was clear she never learned how to swing a stick as a kid. But she was a good sport and tried every time so it was all a lot of fun.
I don’t understand how people get to be into their 50s and 60s and function on their own as a human in society while being this level of uncoordinated.
I tried to teach my gf golf and it was basically the same result. It’s hard for me to comprehend how people can be this unathletic and uncoordinated. Like have you ever seen someone swing a golf club before??
I could never get the hang of swinging a golf club, just doesn’t feel right. Understand where your mum is coming from

Looks like she’s playing shuffleboard.

She’s rocking those John Daly pants at least
Mom prank – she’s just pretending she can’t play and giving them a head start
I love the pfffffffffffffffff
Sorry op but your form needs work
I mean… simply showing her to reverse her grip (right hand underneath her left) would have gone a long way to helping her swing.
I believe I play golf behind her every time I’m out on the course.
has she seen golf before?
First thing I was shown was how to grip the club properly…the swinging part came second.
Worse than Charles Barkley, but you do it the way you want. If it’s fun then it doesn’t matter.
She’s like Happy Gilmore, but you know, the opposite.
Your mom has no business being on a golf course. Put on the driving range with a bucket of balls if she wants to hit something.
No. Just no. Take her back to the pro shop, get her a refund on that equipment and let her pick a new activity. Bird watching maybe.
Most uncoordinated human in existence
I took my parents to top golf and my 81 yr old mom who has never played before beat us.
I’ve been playing for 40 years and she’s still better than me
ok but why is it the mom so god damn drippy 🥶
Still pretty much better than me
Painful to watch.
Mor, hvad fanden var det? 😂
I ser ud til at have en fest, og det er præcis, hvad det skal handle om!

I don’t understand how people can be this fucking inept.
I imagine my mother doing this. 🤣🤣

A couple hundred years ago, a person that spastic wouldn’t live to their teens…
“Hey mom, it’s 2023 not 1956, it’s ok to be good at boy stuff now so like maybe actually put some effort in…”
It’s like she is holding a broom and shooing the cat outside
Perfect form!
Do people with this level of coordination drive cars?
Mor har styr på det shit 😁👍❤️
Don’t laugh too hard. At one point, she had to teach you how to use a spoon.
I wonder how she plays bowling…

Has she ever held an object prior to this?
Bro shows how to, she ignores. Typical
Be nice to your mom man
I like how she turns around after hitting it like “How come that didn’t work?” LOL
Gonna be a long, long day
goog thing golf is a stupid sport for only the rich that wastes resources
And this is why i will never understand parents. So much wisdom, yet we see this time and time again
Less a swing more shooing a small animal with a broom
I always found it baffling that people can’t replicate the body motions of a professional golfer they see on tv. It doesn’t seem hard.
Everyone has seen Tiger Woods swing a golf club. Just mimmick that. It doesn’t have to be perfect.
Same could be said for hitting a baseball or throwing a football, or swinging a tennis racket.
It’s not that complicated. Just make your body do exactly as the professionals do.
If it’s a matter of lacking strength, then ok. I can empathize. Maybe sports aren’t your thing.

How do you get to that age and have never swung anything before?
I tried to teach my gf golf and it was basically the same result. It’s hard for me to comprehend how people can be this unathletic and uncoordinated. Like have you ever seen someone swing a golf club before??
There’s something about watching someone completely refuse advice where it is obviously needed that just frustrates me to no end.
