This photo also gives you a good glimpse of how painful JFK’s back problems must have been (from the war injury) on a day to day basis – cushioned rocking chair, pillow underneath the small of his back.
Also seems like he’s almost bracing himself with the right arm and the way his feet are positioned. Must’ve been really bad.
