The way their hats are cocked back, it seems more like 50s than 60s.
Maybe even the late 40s.
I hated drinking in my dress blues. It was a nightmare at the urinal if you really had to go.
I wish I knew where the picture was taken. My father died when I was young so there is little context to most photographs of him.

Great photo but I’d love to know the context. They are not making an effort to look like they are enjoying themselves but I suspect there is a good reason.
