These are beautiful! Thanks for sharing
5 years ago, I started taking Milky Way photos with an old Canon 1000XS I bought on Ebay. I also took pictures of the moon by holding my cellphone up to the eyepiece of my telescope.
Astronomy started as an interest and has turned into a passion for astrophotography.
The photo on the right is the central region of the Heart Nebula. I acquired over 21 hours of data using my astrophotography gear and stacked hundreds of exposures.
If you have any questions, I’d be happy to answer them.
More please
Very nice indeed. Well done!
Cool beans
Breathtaking, seriously.
I’m into photography for years, but never could properly edit an astro image. Still have a couple of RAWs waiting to share. Any tips you’d wished someone told you earlier?
Huge camera difference I take it?
Absolutely beautiful. Do you have a full res link to the image on the right?
Meanwhile mine are just a black sky and some white dots rofl
Amazing work op and awesome progress! Keep it going! How long did the stacking and editing process took?
Are you the Hubble telescope?
the fact that a normal person ( not a scientist ) can take photos like THIS is insane…
Congratulations 🎉
Went from amazing to super amazing… I’m so jealous 😀
So you work on the Hubble? Nice work if you can get it 😂
So you basically zoomed in? Jokes aside, great shots
Yo dude do you mind if I set that as my background it’s sick
Awesome photos. I just recently attended the local Astronomical society meeting and the guest speaker has published a lot of photos(and invented some serious techniques for large telescopes). All from his backyard in the city with light polution. He went into detail on all the filters used, how many of each with the exposure times. He then went over his setup and post processing.
If interested check out Rio Rancho Astronomical society April 8th 2022 meeting posted on youtube.
The second image looks like a painting. What an amazing talent!
Have you spotted anything unusual? Anything you couldn’t explain. I fly drones at night time and I swear on more than one occasion I’ve seen a satellite change direction.
Very cool
Mmmmm zooming in. Very powerful technique.
-Me, a person who does not know how to astrophotography
Great work! Congrats!!
Incredible.
That’s crazy! It’s awesome to see that progress. Really beautiful.
