Melanoma is no joke. Luckily, we caught this one early.
Please avoid the sun during its peak hours (10 am to 4 pm depending on where you live), and if you have to go outside cover up, use sunscreen 30+ SPF (reapply every 2 hours), and wear a wide brim hat.
And don’t forget to visit your dermatologist yearly. It can save your life!
Glad you got it out when you did. I’m 35, just (5 months ago) had 30 stitches on my face after cutting out a Basil cell carcinoma. I had a dot under my eye for years and never thought much about it until it got a little bigger. Then boom, it’s been growing under my skin. That looks like it’ll heal nice.
technically that’s not a scar yet.
