I see tons of RVs. Reminds me of the Malcolm in the Middle episode where the whole family goes to Burning Man. They roll up in an RV and everyone thinks it is a satirical statement on suburban life.
This was great fun in the early 2000’s before all the trust fund culture vultures stole it.
Bubbling stream of the wealthy slowly empties its crystal fenty depths back into the world’s paved roads and walls, there eager for more time spent on nothing.

This is what it looks like when you leave early to try and beat the traffic. I stay till Tuesday or Wednesday and have none of that.
I’ve been staring at it for hours and I haven’t seen any movement whatsoever.
It’s also burning man…make friends while waiting in line. It’s a lot of fun.

Read about how Burning Man regulates the massive flow of traffic out on the last day when everybody leaves. It’s actually pretty smart for that kind of situation.
The traffic moves in massive blocks: Move as one block, then park for a while, everybody gets out and parties waiting for the next move, then 30-45 minutes later hop back in start up and move another half mile, repeat till you get to pavement and traffic guards direct you out.
Everyone leaving Burning Man. The problem here is the people way up front are still stoned and waiting for the stop sign to turn green.

I have worked Exodus at burning Man. Basically if everybody wants to do the same thing at once they’re going to have to wait.

You’re right, I’ve been watching now for 12 minutes and no one is moving an inch.
They’re supposed to remain still. Instead of everyone idling like a nor.al traffic jam, the organizers of Burning Man orchestrate the traffic to move in sections. This cuts down tons on emissions
The choke point is getting onto Hwy 34. I attended it once. Lost interest when their permit for 70,000 (an increase of 20,000) was approved by the Bureau of Land Management.
Burning man just doesn’t seem appealing one bit. It sounds pretty horrible, especially being a ginger with asthma. 😂 I love not being in the sun. Also it doesn’t seem like what it used to be, a bunch of influencers/affluent hippies. I’m good. 🙂

Edit: They often have to pause the exit line for various issues. The year I went, a girl went missing and they stopped every car from leaving until she was found. It’s horrible. Sometimes you sit there for 12+ hours
