Hands down one of the greatest sketch comedy shows of all time.
I had no idea that the blink 182 song “Adam’s Song” was a reference to this sketch.
“In his memoir Can I Say, drummer Travis Barker wrote that the song’s title was taken from a “sketch on Mr. Show about a band [Titannica] that writes a song with that name encouraging one particular fan to kill himself.”[10] David Cross, co-creator of Mr. Show, confirmed this, commenting, “They were fans of the show and that was a knowing tribute that I thought was pretty cool.”[11]”
Funniest sketch I’ve seen in a while.
This was a classic with me, my dad and my brother “dive right in” is quoted by all of us randomly and it still makes me laugh
“Man, we can’t have him on the road with us, he looks like a wet cigar!” never fails to make me crack up laughing.
