Not gonna lie, Iām actually tearing up a bit. The thought, effort and dedication that went into thisā¦ itās justā¦ Itās epic moments like this that make gaming worth it. And I do mean EPIC.
Nice! Just a tip for realism: there is normally a level on a tall mountain above which trees canāt grow, called the ātree lineā oddly enough. So instead of scattering trees all the way up, choose an altitude and remove all the trees above it. (It should be the same apparent altitude across all the mountains.)
Some people on here is hilarious. You guys presume things you know nothing about.. I landscaped this mountain utilizing WorldPainter, but I designed my own brushes to get the look I wanted.. I also designed the trees and created a schematicā¦ afterwards, I converted my structures to Bedrock, I than went in and coded areas to get an even more unique and detailed look.. and even after that I did additional building in-game to refine my build.. these mountains can take hours to create, others, days.. And for the record.. itās not shaders, itās ray tracing. Something Mojang should have implemented into their game a long time ago.
So if you want to sit back here and tell me that itās āthis easyā than do it yourself and send me in the final result, Thank you.
I’ve always had a problem with people who “build” something in Minecraft. Unless you lay every square individually, I don’t consider you as a builder. Writing a script to have the system build something isn’t the same. Looks great!
I assume those are supposed to be trees, but they don’t read as trees, and instead read as just a weird jaggy mass.
There are a few ways to improve that, such as transitioning and thinning as you increase elevation, making them smaller as you go up to force perspective, but I also just think it’s largely the way the trees are made that reads that way.
I come from Ontario, very flat mostly. Occasionally I’ll go to Quebec and look at the hillage and small mountains. This image makes me pine for the mountains again
it is great cong. š
How did you build it?
Incredible! (ā @ā _ā @ā )

Witcher 3 had the best mountains.
This is a clear example of how important good lighting in a game can be
diggy…hole
Post this in Earthporn
Why you build mountain.
Using Worldpainter is not building.
Well crafted fjords no doubt.
Donāt get me wrong itās cool, but you didnāt ābuildā any of this, more a matter of copy and pasting in the simplest terms.
That’s funny because when I play Minecraft I usually flatten mountains to level 62
Damn that’s insane! Looks awesome!
The lighting is just incredible.

how much time does it took to complete this?
