MotoGP isn’t as big as F1, mostly cause two wheels just aren’t as popular as four wheels, but modern MotoGP is ridiculously competitive and thrilling, and the speed disparity between riders and machines extremely tight. The races are only half as long as an F1 race with twice as many overtakes. The pilot skill matters much more than the vehicle in comparison to F1 as well. Hopefully this series helps boost MotoGP’s popularity.
Last season had some great highlights including Marc Marquez returning to racing after a year of rehab and recovery that started with a broken arm and eventually led to a bone infection and numerous treatments, an insane mixed weather race in Austria, and it being the last season of the legend Valentino Rossi.
I can’t remember the last time I was this excited about a tv show
