I mean if something’s good it’s great for it to last long right? 😀 If it’s not good and still long, just don’t play it. There is enough data on newer games on the internet than we could ever imagine. Watch a review, see a gameplay video, if it’s not for you, just don’t play it. If it’s for you, you’ll probably want it to last long anyways. I know this logic doesn’t apply everywhere put sometimes you need simple approaches in life.
There are plenty of shorter games available nowadays too. Plenty of longer games. Plenty of games that far overstay their welcome. Plenty of games that end way too soon.
We have more variety and options than ever before. So I never understand these commentaries about how “modern gaming is this”. You will almost certainly find numerous alternatives to whatever it is you don’t like. You don’t need to play everything. You most certainly will not be able to play everything.
